Wow I haven’t been on here in so long. With my insane schedule and life’s curveballs I just haven’t had the time.
Where to begin….
Well the past two weeks have been the epitome of a disaster. Between dance team drama, a friendship torn to pieces and even relationship issues I’m pretty much down for the count.
Without being specific towards any of those 3 topics at hand I’ve learned a couple things along the way. True friends will always stick by your side. Real friends don’t tear you into a million pieces and respond with an “LOL”. Real friends don’t emphasize on your weaknesses just to get a good laugh. Real friends don’t belittle you on social media or real life. Real friends don’t talk about you behind your back, but are completely nice to your face. Friends come and go and I’m glad this one showed her true colors and is no longer apart of my life.
“Life becomes so much better when you decide not to care. Just live for the moment and don’t let the drama bring you down.”
I can honestly say I’ve been torn apart from all the drama. But now I know not to let other people push me around. What matters is me and my happiness. That might sound selfish, but I need to start thinking about what makes me happy. I know I’m at a good place in my life and maybe people see me reaching for success so they try to push me down. Overall even though these past two weeks have been horrible I’ve learned how to be a stronger person.
“Remember the past, plan for the future, but live for today because yesterday is gone and tomorrow may never come.”
It’s time to start living in the moment and enjoy life. Forget all the negatives and focus on the positives. And remember what’s important….my happiness. :)
